Koninko/Winzan Nord Exploration Permit (233 kmē)
- 233kmē land concession situated 250 km south of Bamako, the capital city of Mali, in West Africa.
- The project is underlain by rocks of the Proterozoic Birimian Terrane, host to most of West Africa's gold mines, including Morila and Sadiola, both in Mali.
- Soil data indicate a northern west-northwest trending series of anomalies, the Koninko North Trend, almost 15km long. The Koninko South gold anomaly stretches 4.5km, west-northwest with a width of 600-1000m, 2.5km south of the Koninko North Trend.
- The area hosts a large number of quartz structures, many sub-parallel to the axis of the anomaly. Granitic outcrops are observed on the property, locally sheared with oriented quartz lenses.
